Not done: It's not clear what change you want to be made to the article. Also, Wikipedia generally does not state opinions like "best"; instead, it describes factual statements about the opinion. Quadrantal (talk) 16:10, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Second line under economy has in brackets "the 42th highest in the world", it should be "42nd". Uoauibdhv (talk) 04:20, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Under "Economy", change "The average salary is €1,137 per month, excluding self-employed individuals[164]" to "The average salary is €1,505 per month (2023)". Mirandese name

Mirandese name for portugal in the initial table MdMV or Emdy idk (talk) 18:42, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn’t we put the name of portugal in mirandese (República Pertuesa) in the initial table of the page? It’s a recognised language, and after visiting other pages like Latvia and Spain, that also recognise regional languages, their regional (recognised) languages are in the table too, why’s mirandese not? Provinces of Portugal

[edit]

Yupis1 has added content regarding the Provinces of Portugal in the Geography content. The question is if this kind of info is relevant for the geography content, if it should be added instead in the Administrative divisions content, or if it should not be added at all. The discussion is open.Tuesp1985 (talk) 15:31, 31 December 2024 (UTC)

Tuesp1985 the user insists on confusing historical division with political division. It seems to me that his intention is not in which section the topic should be, but to delete it. Historical division continues to exist and it is important. Just do some research. Yupis1 (talk) 15:36, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Yupis1, first of all, I want an orderly discussion of this. I deleted it because it should be first discussed, as the Portugal page suffered a big review in the last year or so in which a lot of content was deleted and the page was reorganized in order to be aligned with other country pages. Second, if you go to other country pages, the content you added is on the Administrative division content, Spain even has a link to the History of the territorial organization of Spain, and the Geography content only gives info on geography, climate and biodiversity/fauna. I don't have any intention in deleting your content, just want to have a consensus on what should be added in the page or not. And, in a sign of good will to the debate, I accept that your contribution remains in the Portugal page during the topic discussion.Tuesp1985 (talk) 16:53, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, if I change the topic to the Administrative Divisions section, will you accept it? Yupis1 (talk) 17:17, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's not up to me to accept it or not. Other users need to weigh in too, as there could be different views. For now, your contribution should remain in the Geography content. Tuesp1985 (talk) 17:31, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think it should be in the History or Culture sections. The Provinces have more to do with portuguese history or culture JppB (talk) 17:57, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Whatever section it is, what matters is being there, after so much cultural ignorance Hpp1 (talk) 18:52, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
that's right. I've also had several deletions and the justifications also seemed very strange to me. There are established users who appear to be the owners of pages about Portugal and then come up with excuses of vandalism when they don't like the contributions. Hpp1 (talk) 17:10, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Do we have any sources that explains how this would be relevant to today's Portugal? Moxy🍁 18:17, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Learn about the history of Portugal first, read and research, and then consult with this question. Yupis1 (talk) 18:40, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
One of the relevance demonstrated is an ignorance revealed in this question Hpp1 (talk) 18:49, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
